The Bond is structured to invest up to USD 75 million into Empyre Media Fund LP, a USD 200 million entertainment fund exclusively focused on investing into a Portfolio of 3 to 6 A-List Hollywood Major Studio Movies, managed by Empyre Capital Management and advised by Empyre Media.
Empyre Media is a London-based media content financing and investment firm with over 50 years of experience in entertainment finance. Empyre Media management team has recently invested in 4 feature Major Studio Films that have generated in excess of USD 950 million in box office receipts and been nominated for 14 Academy Awards, 4 Golden Globes, and 8 BAFTAS for an aggregate IRR of 35.0%*, featuring Hollywood major stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant, Academy Award Winner for Best Actor), Tom Cruise (American Made) and Mark Wahlberg (2 Guns).
